Shield Usage in Japan - Part 2 - Collab with Antony Cummins

This video is a continuation of the video "Why didn't the Japanese use shields? Or did they?" which I have made at the beginning of this month.

This time we have a collaboration with Antony Cummins who is going to bring to us some interesting information he has found about shield usage in Japan while working with his team on the translation of original Japanese samurai and ninja scrolls.

On a side note please excuse my usage of the word "ancient". When I say "ancient Japan" I mean anything that isn't Modern Japan so I also imply sengoku period etc.

The reason why I tend to do this is because in Italian the word "Giappone antico" has a very generic meaning to anything which isn't modern and being Italian I sometimes tend to forget English is more specific in that respect. Thank you for your patience ^^
