This clip tackles some of the aspects we should take into account when addressing optical phenomena. How the eye works plays a major role in how we perceive the world. For example, if you look out on a long road it appears to be ramping up (to more or less the center of your view), but when you go measure it physically; this is not the case. We can perceive a certain distance due to several factors. One of which is the angle to which you're looking at. If the angle is too small, you'll not perceive it or distorted.
