Max Chroma 2-Color Blend Extractor - FREE Action for Adobe Photoshop

In this video I show how to use the "2-Color Blend Extractor" which is an action included with the FREE Max Chroma Luminosity Mask Generator & Greyscale Colorizer.

I also explain a little about 2-Tone or "Duo-Tone" Blending of colors digitally, and how Photoshop's native "Duo-Tone" Color Mode does not accurately blend 2-colors together, as well as the compression issues with using the Gradient Map adjustment or process.

The video explains how to set the foreground and background color swatches to be the color points you want to extract from your original flattened RGB document, and will work perfectly as long as the original was truly blended with those 2 colors correctly in the digital RGB color space. If the file was designed correctly, the 2-Color Extractor action can pull out the correct gradients for each color no matter what custom colors they are.
