Behind the Scenes: Debugging and Testing Actions in Adobe Photoshop 2021 & 2022
Max Chroma
In this video I am showing a behind-the-scenes look at doing some work with actions. A lot of actions that are made in newer versions of Photoshop like 2022 are no longer backward compatible in older versions like 2021 because of certain commands in the actions that aren't the same anymore between the versions.
I show some of the work in debugging and fixing the actions so they run correctly as a 2021 version and a 2022 version. If you have the Custom Colorizer 2022 you should be able to download a new version from the original link, there will be a separate action file for 2021 if you have photoshop 2021 and you were getting the same errors as you see in the video.
I'm going to start showing more of the work I'm doing each day with things like these photoshop actions, getting into programming and showing how to do these things in various free and open source programs like Krita and Material Maker and PixaFlux, as well as some of the artwork and printing that I do like the color separations and halftones work with screenprinting.
Thanks for watching!
