A More General Binomial Theorem (Calculus Made Easy, pre Chapter 4)

We're used to having positive integers as exponents with the Binomial Theorem. As a prelude to Chapter 4 of Thompson's "Calculus Made Easy," we need to tweak the Binomial Theorem, for fractional and negative exponents.
