Make PCBs with your K40 Laser / Tutorial

Lets start with a quick summary:

Yes, you can easily make your own simple PCBs using the K40!

No, you won’t be able to make boards that are high in resolution for an Arduino Board or tiny smd components. 5mm LEDs and 0,25w THT resistors will work.

Make the tracers and pads wider than usual to make the process easier. I used 1mm tracers in the video that came out to be to narrow. I would suggest 2-3mm tracers and 2-3mm pads.

I used iron(iii)chloride for the etching process and cheap copper laminated pcbs from Amazon so as some matt black spray paint, steel wool or fine sand paper, acetone and an old toothbrush.
