Why Has Rubber Changed?
Make It With Calvin
This is a clip from an upcoming video making parts for my dad's Corvair Lakewood. In short, my dad has some old inner tubes from trucks lying around that have weathered the elements perfectly fine, versus the rubber used for tyres today which forms dry rot cracks at a scarily fast rate. If anyone knows the reason why this is, please comment. We are genuinely curious.
And yes, my dad was in on me filming. He was curious if I had the camera rolling or not for the rubber bit!
