My 2020 take on the Rust 2x2 Starter Base Design - without a doubt my favorite starter base and go to. This is made for your first base following a fresh spawn.

The 2x2 is probably the most popular tried & tested starter base design in Rust. The go-to cheap option to start that is flexible to build off of too. Can be used as a solo/duo/trio/even quad.

This video is made for newer players and does not go through the full-extension possibilities for a 2x2.
