Using a Small Jig to Catch Big Bass in a Flooded Pond!
Make Time For Fishing
I went out after a week’s worth of rain in search of some big pass in the flooded neighborhood pond. I was using a small crappie jig that weighed 1/16 oz paired up with various 1-2” soft plastic minnows and managed to find a few decent bass in a short fishing trip using my ultralight rig. The bites were really subtle and I had to work it really slow to get these fish to bite but I had a great time doing it! I’m going to go back later this week and try some bigger jigs to see if I can locate some bigger fish in the main pond.
