Once I Figured Out How The Fish Wanted It The Bite Was Nonstop

I went out after a big rainstorm we had where we got over 5 inches of rain over a day and a half in hopes of finding some sheepshead. I had never caught sheepshead after it rained but I was feeling confident going to my honey hole. It took a little bit to figure out how the fish wanted the bait presented to them, but once I did the bite was nonstop.

I started out with a carolina rig but after 30 minutes or so with zero bites I was feeling discouraged. I went back to old faithful, the split shot rig, and caught a fish first cast. From there the bite was on.
