Stop Mining Coal Rant | Make Science Fun

This episode raises awareness of some of the impacts of coal mining which include: i) The effect on the land in the vicinity of the mine. ii) How the land is changed/left once all the coal is mined. iii) Effects on local water sources. iv) Dust from the mine site. v) Greenhouse gas production and global warming vi) The availability of alternative forms of energy sources which are renewable and non greenhouse gas contributing.
