Progress video 09, a mini devlog showing combat dynamics prototyped in Godot game engine. Weapons now overheat which forces the player to be a bit more tactical. Player can now also dash to either evade enemy attacks or for quick close combat approach and then escape the heat.
When the player stops shooting, after 3 seconds the cooldown process starts. But if you reach 100% heat then you overheat the weapon and you have to wait 10 seconds before cooldown starts.
The turret enemy also got a small visual update to make it clearer when in "planted" state.
Project Phantom Fury is an action packed twins tick, top-down shooter game with some RPG elements. Fight your way through different arenas and beat the game to gather the highest score. A game developed with the Godot Game Engine.
