Described as an easy-to-use smart contract system for Bitcoin, the 'Bitcoin Computer' makes it easy to build fungible and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), games, social networks, exchanges, auctions, voting, office applications, artificial intelligence and more.
About the speakers: Clemens is an entrepreneur and computer scientist with a PhD in database theory from the University of Oxford. Clemens started his first Bitcoin company in 2013 and has been working full time on Bitcoin since then. In 2018 Clemens started the Bitcoin Computer in order to bring smart contracts to Litecoin and other UTXO-based blockchains. Clemens is of the conviction that the capabilities of Litecoin are vastly underestimated by many.
María Laura Tardivo is a tenured professor in computer science at the National University of Rio Cuarto, Argentina, teaching operating systems and computer organization. She has a PhD from the National University of San Luis, Argentina in parallel and distributed computing. She is co-founder and CTO of the Bitcoin Computer.
