My Amazon Influencer storefront: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/influencer-99d84c06 Listings of equipment, tools and ingredients used in the Lazy Cook kitchen and in the making of my videos. In this tutorial I demonstrate how to use the new GEGL Drop Shadow filter in GIMP 2.10. I am using the current latest version GIMP 2.10.18.
It is well worth taking the time to learn how to use this filter, because the legacy Drop Shadow filter relies on trial and error, whereas the GEGL Drop Shadow filter offers non-destructive editing of your images, so you can see the effects your edits before you commit.
