In the most recent video I did about how to run a spice simulation to look at the Power Factor of the Power supply MicroCap will be used to simulate the power supply for the Class A amplifier, the Aleph 5 Class A amplifier. I will show that the SPICE simulation of this circuit using MicroCap will correlate very closely to the tested results. The Power supply with bridge rectifier and capacitors will be tested to show power factor and how to size the transformer.

In previous videos in this series I show the initial build stages and how to properly apply thermal compound to a transistor to then mount to the heat sink. I showed a SPICE schematic in Micro-Cap, and I ran a simulation to show how flat the gain response is over the frequency band. I'll also show the parts that I bought to improve the parts that came in the kit. This will be followed up with me building up the boards and test them. Then I'll build the Power Supply to go with it. I'll actually build several to see what works best, and then finally install it in a box and perform final testing.
