I think the hassle and all the crazy stuff that is on both Windows and Apple TOS, and Privacy statements. and how they can dictate what you can or cannot use on your own computer is ridiculous. especially since they offer nothing better in terms of performance than on Linux, in fact in my testing I found that for the operations I can compare side by side Linux was almost always faster.
And I think If we are more and more people switching to Linux companies like Affinity and Adobe will have to start making their software compatible with Linux as well, in form of AppImages or maybe Arch specific distributions since that's where most people end up eventually.
