Kopia is an x-platform fast and secure backup solution, it's still a young project if you compare it to "borg-backup" which is very mature and a great solution, but it's single-threaded and can be very complicated compared to the multithreaded neighbor kopia, which also can use rclone to store and backups on more clouds. I use both Kopia and borg, but I really like the ease of use and how you can relatively easily change policies, encryption, and compression with kopia.

I think you will love kopia if you try it, I have messed up a few times while trying to figure out how to be able to Automate Backups With Elevated Privileges On Linux -Using Kopia Backup, and I have not been able to break the repositories or snapshots. one of the best things with kopia is that you can mount a snapshot and brows it either from the CLI or your file manager where you can pick the one file you need to restore instead of restoring a whole directory.
