For modulated signals, it is important to set the resolution bandwidth wide enough to include the sidebands. If you don’t include the sidebands, you will get inaccurate power measurements unless you do the extra math of making integrated band power measurement then combine multiple measurement points to cover the entire signal bandwidth.
