If you don’t calibrate your probe to the oscilloscope input you are using, you could be introducing significant skew and amplitude error to your measured waveform.

In this episode of Probing Pitfalls, Melissa explains the measurement errors introduced by uncalibrated probes. She’ll also explain how to correct these errors with a simple probe calibration. You’ll leave the video with an understanding of how uncalibrated probes cause skew and inaccurate amplitude, possible consequences of such measurement error, and how to easily calibrate Keysight active probes to Keysight oscilloscopes.
