I don't think these are actually Russians because for the most of the game we've actually been shooting Hanson's henchmen, you know, the guys with US equipment that are after Grienko. It just confuses me because these American special forces who work for Hanson keep having Russian accents and carry Russian weapons, and Sarge said they carried US equipment despite them carrying Russian ewuipment.
