Hitman: Absolution -19- Countdown
JohnnyDFox
Blake, having been warned about 47's arrival, is about to flee Blackwater Park on his private helicopter and has ordered his men to rig the place with enough explosives to level the building, all in order to make sure 47 isn't going to keep coming after him if his men and Layla aren't able to stop him. Only thing keeping Blake still here and the building standing up is his best gal Layla, so 47 better get cracking before somebody finds her body in the bedroom.
This level has a time limit and doing what I did here was very dangerous, but considering the fact that I was going for the evidence and the sneaky way to it would also take a lot of time and practice, it was not THAT dangerous in comparison. I believe once you get close enough to the helipad and Blake hears about Layla's demise and starts dragging Victoria, the timer stops. I THINK. Because then he backs up and gets ready for the final showdown, which I figured he didn't have a right to. Despite the timer not being visible on Purist difficulty I can assure you, based on failed runs, that time was VERY close to running out. Most likely you could count the seconds I had left with the fingers on two hands even if you were missing a couple. Fingers, not hands.
The hammer kill animation, as well as all kill animations in this game, was a disappointment. If you don't know, it's the same for all blunt weapons, and the fireaxe close-quarters kill animation is also a very similar choke.
Despite what you might think after watching the video, the guards have a WAY better visibility than the player. WAY better. Despite the supposed fog it's nearly as good as without fog most of the time, giving the player the disadvantage. Also, unlike with steam and smoke in other levels, instinct does not help at all with the visibility here. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPcs9ce5VyU
