Geometry 8.2e, Inverse Functions & Trig Ratios
JoAnn's School
How to read an inverse function written as sin^ -1x, how y=sin^-1x is the inverse of the function y=sin x. If we know the value of a trig ratio, we can use the inverse trig function to find the angle measure. We can do this by using a calculator or by looking at the graph of the function. We find the inverse of 1=sin x, 0=sin x, 1/2=cos x, and 1=tan x by looking at graphs of the function.
