7th Grade Math 9.1c, Using Circumference
JoAnn's School
If we're given the circumference of a circle, we can use the appropriate circumference formula to find the radius or the diameter of the circle. We can use C=2 π r or C=π d. We walk-through a word problem in which the circumference is given, to find the radius. We then find the diameter for that given circumference. We find a missing measurements to the nearest hundredth when the circumference is given, or the diameter is given.
