7th Grade Math 12.4a, Using Experimental Probability to Make Predictions
JoAnn's School
To make a prediction using experimental probability, we write an equation to find the likelihood of the event. We use the likelihood to make the prediction. We can use a proportion or a percent equation. Experimental probabilities are not certain. A prediction is not a guarantee. It's simply a reasonable assumption based on an experimental result. We walk-through three examples of using experimental probability to make a prediction.
