6th Grade Math 10.2b, Using the Order of Operations to Evaluate Expressions
JoAnn's School
Expressions may have more than one operation or more than one variable. To evaluate these expressions, we substitute the given value for each variable and then use the order of operations. We review the order of operations. We evaluate several expressions that involve parentheses, multiplication, multiple variables, and show that we can solve an expression by performing the operation within the parentheses first or by using the Distributive Property.
