How to Handwash Cloth Diapers- Bucket Method - Flats & Handwashing Challenge 2020

It's Day 4 of the Flats & Handwashing Challenge!: "What Is Your Wash Routine?" I feel really good about my wash routine this year, the previous years doing the Challenge really helped me this year. It's amazing what a difference a little experience makes! I can't imagine how adept I'd become after months and months of Handwashing!! This year I had a much better idea of how much detergent to use, in previous years I've used wayyy too much detergent, necessitating so. much. rinsing. I also had a much better understanding of how much plunging is really necessary and how much rinsing. Contrary to It's truly amazing how clean these diapers get!!

I’m participating in the Flats and Handwashing Challenge this year as a way to help families who may be struggling with diaper need. The Challenge lasts for one week, from Monday May 25th to Sunday May 31st at Midnight. During this week myself and hundreds and hundreds of families around the world use only Flats and Cloth Diaper Covers and only Handwash them as a way to show that Cloth Diapering is affordable and accessible to families of all income levels and whether you have ready access to a washer and dryer or not.
