Springfield 911 .380 + TRP Operator 10mm Range Day SHOT Show 2018
Jeremy S.
Putting some rounds downrange through the brand new 911 .380 sub-compact from Springfield Armory as well as their new 10mm TRP Operator. Though I still have reservations about Springfield for political reasons, this 911 is a huge hit. The gun is an amazing shooter. It's fast, accurate, and flat shooting with a great trigger, great sights, and a very well-paced and perfectly usable safety. They've done a really good job with it and I have zero negative feedback. I'll get my hands on one for a long-term test and put 1,000 rounds through it before doing my review, but I can tell you right now that if it's reliable I'm going to like it. IF you like the form factor, of course, of a small, single action, hammer-fired gun with a manual safety like this. Many people won't be interested just based on those design choices. The TRP was fine. It's a 10mm 1911 that's decently tuned with a nice trigger, but doesn't really stand out to me in a meaningful way other than the chambering.
