Pipeline (1: Discussion and Fetch) - Making an 8 Bit pipelined CPU - Part 8

In this video we start looking at the main execution pipeline, I'm afraid this one is quite a lot of explaining and only a little bit of circuit building. I've tried to spread the explanations of the pipeline functionality out over the next few videos but I needed to do some extra up front to before we start.

Without any of the extra logic that comes later the fetch stage is very bare-bones, but it's necessary to start somewhere. The next video with add a lot more circuitry to the new 4 piece breadboard.

I only noticed in editing that I bumped my desk lamp into view towards the end of this video, I'm still getting used to having the camera higher. I'll know to avoid that in future but it didn't obscure anything important so I did re-shoot. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGj983tkcoE
