This week, we dive into the world of CGI and compositing.

I've never been the best at working in After Effects from Adobe. I've always been a Premiere Pro kind of gal. But (and I blame this solely on watching too many sci-fi and action movies, lately), I've wanted to see if I could teach myself some simple tips and tricks. So, I gave my best shot at making a hologram effect for a communication device, like the one in Star Wars, as well as making it look like my entire apartment gets lit on fire, which was inspired by the car crash scene in David Fincher's Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I couldn't have done this without the wonderful digital assets from @Triune Films and @Film Riot . PLEASE check out their stuff. They're absolute filmmaking Jedi.
