Warner Bros recently released the Matrix Resurrections movie in cinemas and on premium download. Have you watched it and what did you think of it? Personally, I liked it.

The original Matrix and its sequels were ground breaking at the time… But, we live in a different world now where a kid in their bedroom can use the likes of Unreal Engine 5 to build out whole worlds. Therefore it was going to be very difficult for the fourth film to break any new ground in terms of visual effects…

So what did Lana Wachowski do? Well, she dipped her hand back into the well of the original movie and gave us an entertaining couple of hours 🤙

Was it perfect, far from it, but it wasn’t as bad as some critics have made it out to be either.

Anyway, I digress. I like the transition effects created for the “De Ja Vu” teaser trailer and I wanted to show you how you can do something similar in LumaFusion.
