How to Start Growing Weed from Seed

One thing I didn't mention is that I transplanted the solo cups way to early. Another thing is that we forgot to mention is that you should soak your seeds first. In our next video, we'll be sure to have a lot more footage of the ladies growing.

Step 1) Soak your seeds in non-chlorinated water until they sink. This usually takes around 12 hours or so. Step 2) Dump shot glass onto a paper towel, fold, and put inside ziplock. Step 3) Place in a dark warm area for at least 24 hours, depending on the strain. Step 4) Plant the germinated seed in a solo cup for photoperiods or final container for autoflowers. Step 5) Place in a well lit area outdoors or under your grow lights of choice, you may also be interested in utilizing a humidity dome. If so, slowly open the valve on the dome over the next few days. Step 6) Let them grow! All the energy needed for a seedling to grow is stored within the seed. They won't need any nutrients or fertilizers until 3-4 weeks in.

Keep in mind before you get to step 1 you should already have your soil, pots, lights and a humidifier/dehumidifier depending on your climate. I'd recommend also getting the nutrients that you'll need a few weeks in.
