How to improve streaming on Odysee using Handbrake
𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐂: 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐂𝐚𝐧
Made this screen recording to help out a fellow Man that was having issues with getting videos to stream reliably on Odysee. I show how to use Handbrake to reduce a large size video down to a size that looks good and shouldn't have trouble streaming for most. Instructions only last a couple minutes. At about 2:46, I show some samples of videos set at different bitrates. At about 4:16, I present some things you might want to look for in your video editor to eliminate the need to use Handbrake.

Since making this video, I've run into a couple videos I edited for a friend that were shifting the picture in Handbrake. If this happens, go to the dimensions tab, uncheck autocrop, check loose crop, and zero all four crop values. You can make sure it's positioned correctly by selecting show preview.
In case anyone is curious, the bitrate of this video is 569 kbps, with 128 of that being audio. A screen recording of images or a slideshow can usually be set even lower than video and still look great.
