3D print - Homemade microphone pop filter and holder - STL and FCSTD files

A few years back I made a homemade pop filter that I had hot glued to a wire. It was made from the top of either a yogurt or cottage cheese container, and the lid, cut out to allow material to be fastened around the top. Its diameter is 108 mm (4.25 in.) Now having access to a 3d printer, I decided to make a better holder for it.
Update: I decided to design a printable replica of the yogurt/cottage cheese lid. Note: The fit is a little loose without material, but with materiaI it holds just fine. Personally, I just use a paper towel that is 0.4 mm thick. If one uses something much thinner or thicker, it may effect how the material holds. If so, consider scaling material retainer down or up slightly.
Holder is designed to fit over a standard 5/8 inch (15.9 mm) mic stand mount, and extends out 75 mm from the center of mounting hole. I made a hex head screw to secure the pop filter into the holder's slot. The slot is 16 mm deep.
I use this with my Fifine K669 on mic stand. The clearance is close to the gain knob. but I usually adjust gain in software. It will easily swing out of way to adjust the knob on mic if desired.
Though I haven't made a print of it, I added a modified version that should allow this holder to work with a similar XLR mic. Opened the cable slot from 8 mm to 25 mm and added 2 mm thickness to base.
Printing instructions:
0.4mm nozzle 0.2 mm layer height 15% infill up to just below slot for ring
I figured the support material would be difficult to remove from the 2 mm slot without breaking the top off, so I made the top 70 layers solid, printed longest side down. It is difficult to remove that. I used a putty knife. A slim strong pick might work better if one is available.
The holding screw and hole required chasing the threads with a tap and die. I would recommend having those available if one wants the best hold. However, the fit is tight enough to hold in place without it.
FreeCAD file included for anyone that needs to alter the specs.
I know there are sites specifically for 3d models, however, out of 10 major ones I examined, only Cults3d and Pinshape have a decent privacy policy (no Google telemetry) for basic usage. There is an added hurdle for those sites though, in that they require signup to download files. I chose to put my designs on Cults3d and realize not everyone will signup to download models. Since Odysee does not require sign up to download, that is why I am making my designs available here as well.
