3D MODEL DESCRIPTION This replacement support arm was made for an Arrow TR-550 hot glue gun. It may work for others.
The mounting pegs are 3.5 mm diameter, with a 3.2 mm gap between them. Printing in non-brittle material like PETG will allow some flexibility to install it easier. It's likely better for avoiding warping when hot glue comes in contact with it too.
30 mm space between arms that swing over glue gun body. Overall height of arm is 22 mm.
40 mm ramp down to glue catch basin. Basin extends another 16 mm.
3D PRINTING SETTINGS 0.4 mm nozzle 0.2 mm layer height PETG Printing, with support, stood on end with glue basin at top works best. I added 5 mm brim inner and outer to ensure bed adhesion.
I know there are sites specifically for 3d models, however, out of 10 major ones I examined, only Cults3d and Pinshape have a decent privacy policy (no Google telemetry) for basic usage. There is an added hurdle for those sites though, in that they require signup to download files. I chose to put my designs on Cults3d and realize not everyone will signup to download models. Since Odysee does not require sign up to download, that is why I am making my designs available here as well.
