GM inner fender fastener - wheel well rivets

3D model description This is replacement fastener for holding inner fender (wheel well) in place on a General Motors vehicle.

The pin portion is 3.5 mm in diameter. Head is 13 mm diameter and 2 mm thick.

The rivet portion has 17 mm diameter head that is 3 mm thick. Its pin diameter is 6.2 mm. The inner part of the pin is beveled in toward the end, so the when the pin is inserted it will push the ends out.

3D printing settings 0.4 mm nozzle 0.12 layer height Print both pieces laid on side with support. The pin will fall apart easily if printed vertically on head. Some light scraping with knife might be required to remove all the support material for it to fit in hole.

I know there are sites specifically for 3d models, however, out of 10 major ones I examined, only Cults3d and Pinshape have a decent privacy policy (no Google telemetry) for basic usage. There is an added hurdle for those sites though, in that they require signup to download files. I chose to put my designs on Cults3d and realize not everyone will signup to download models. Since Odysee does not require sign up to download, that is why I am making my designs available here as well.
