Are Single Player Games Really Dead?

Single Player Games are dead? This is something that has really been blowing up as of late as companies are looking for ways to monotize there games and keep players invested for a while. This has struck the debate as to weather single player games will see an eventual end. Lets get into this and see if this is something that could become to a possibility. Personally I think Single Player games are here to stay.
