NPC Line of Sight Godot 2d Tutorial | The Combat Series #9
Game Development Center
In this Godot Beginner Tutorial, we will give our enemy NPC Line of Sight using the Space State functionality of Godot.

To first step to any NPC logic is making sure the enemy can 'see' the player. In this Godot 2d tutorial we will make use of an Area2d along with Space State and Raycasting to implement such a system. Giving the enemies sight and having them look for us will be the first step to do many more cool things in Godot.
