While learning how to shoot in Godot, we also take a look at how to set a rate of fire in Godot, how to off-set the spawn point of projectiles, how to set the bullet speed, and how to make the bullets disappear after a life-time has expired or when it hits a physical body. The lessons of this Godot 2d tutorial can be applied to isometric, top-down and platformer style games made with the Godot engine. This tutorial is made in Godot 3.1.
