How to Make an Enemy Follow you in Godot 3.2 | The Enemy Logic Series #2
Game Development Center
In this Godot tutorial, I will teach you how to make an enemy follow you around! We make use of Navigation2D and some coding to give our enemy some brains :)
00:57 Activating the Search State 04:12 Using a Navigation 2D node to find Paths 07:50 Retrieving the Path from the Map 11:17 Retrieving Last Input for Movement 12:27 Creating the Movement Loop 19:22 Avoiding Errors and Demo 20:45 Creating 'Transparency' for the Enemies 22:18 Turning the Search State off
Enemies aren't stationary, but coding them to follow and search for you can be complex. In this Godot tutorial, we continue the state machine we starting the last episode and combine the attacking state with the searching state!

GDC, Game Development Center, was created to provide in-depth tutorials on game design and game development with Godot. We aim for multi-part tutorials, allowing us to dive deeper into Godot's features. You can request tutorials on additional features within a given topic. No promises, but we'll do our best to make it happen :) ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_7lCe7LQa4
