MAX7219 WiFi Sub Counter - ESP8266 WiFi Scrolling Message
Gadget Reboot
Using the MAX7219 to control four 8x8 LED matrix modules and create a scrolling text sign. Text scrolling examples include a YouTube subscriber counter and custom text entered via WiFi into a web server running in the ESP8266.
Note: The LED library defaults to 50% intensity so I should make a test sketch to ensure running all LEDs at full intensity and check the current consumption again. Will update at that point.
