Would You Survive Childhood In Middle Ages
Fun Facts History
Of all the misconceptions about the Middle Ages, some of the most difficult to overcome involve life for medieval children and their place in society. It's easy to see why people feel like there was no real childhood back then, but the historical truth is, that medieval people recognized childhood in some way. Of course, it is not correct to assume that medieval attitudes were identical or even similar to modern ones. But, it can be argued that childhood was recognized as a phase of life, and one that had value, at that time.
