Easy Low Budget DIY Solar Power Installation - Part 1
FixTechStuff
I've had off grid solar power for some years with DIY batteries made out of 18650's, but with the price on LIFEPO4 batteries coming down it makes it a lot easier to build a system that better suits your needs. Here I build a basic solar power system to run lights and a refrigerator, a water pump and the power tools. It also doubles up as backup electricity in case of power outage, in future we will install a changeover switch on the house.
It's only the beginning, in the next video we will make some upgrades and solve a few problems that appeared.
