Troubleshooting a Bad Video Projector Ballast | BenQ W1070 | No Light

This is the method I use to troubleshoot no light problem with a BenQ W1070. There are a few things that you can check to see if your ballast is actually bad or if its something else keeping the ballast from starting your projector's lamp.

This particular W1070 was damaged by a knock off lamp from Amazon. The majority of items I see on amazon are pretty bad. There are a handful of decent sellers, but they get drowned out by the junk.
