The Gnome Feature I Hate

There's only one feature I really can't stand in Gnome, and that's auto updates after an installation. I know there are many beginners who need this type of feature, but more advanced users to do not. The worst part is your system is held hostage while the updates are downloaded and installed. But there is a way around that...
