The Solar System It is a system of a Sun and the objects that move around it. Our solar system consists of our star, the Sun and everything bound to it by gravity - the planets like the Earth, asteroids, meteors, comets and many more.

Atoms An atom is a particle of matter that uniquely defines a chemical element. An atom consists of a central nucleus that is surrounded by one or more negatively charged electrons. Quantum theory states that there are only certain allowed energy states for an electron and that these are quantized.

Double Helix Nebula It is a gaseous nebula in the direction of the constellation Ophiuchus, near the center of our galaxy. It is thought to have been distorted by magnetic torsion into the shape of two connected spirals, known as a double helix.

DNA Deoxyribonucleic acid (abbreviated DNA) is the molecule that carries genetic information for the development and functioning of an organism. DNA is made of two linked strands that wind around each other to resemble a twisted ladder.

Lightning It is a giant spark of electricity in the atmosphere between clouds, the air, or the ground. In the early stages of development, air acts as an insulator between the positive and negative charges in the cloud and between the cloud and the ground.
