Tuya-Convert works again... kind of... - Gosund EP2 Update

Tuya-Convert can be used on a newer firmware on the Gosund EP2 plugs as of recently! Well, not without a bit of work beforehand but it's quite easy to do, at least compared to trying to open them up and potentially destroying them.

Here's how to request the newest firmware update from Gosund:

1. Add your EP2 plugs into the Tuya app
2. Open the plug Settings, go to "Device Information" and write down the ID you see there
3. Write a mail to "globalservice@gosund.com" with the Device ID(s) you noted down and tell them you want to use Tuya-Convert.
4. Wait a few days.
5. After a week or so you'll get a popup information that a new device firmware is ready to be installed. Go ahead and update the device, for me this was 1.0.6

Voila! You can then go ahead and use Tuya-Convert as usual! If you want to use my tutorial without a Raspberry Pi: https://youtu.be/oTXI42X2H10
