Atmosphere of desert and feeling of heat are transmitted skillfully by placing sand particles, local fogs and bright lighting. The scenery is very detailed and spectacular. Different rocks, plants and buildings are picked very nicely - they look great together.
02:08 - it looks like it's possible to get on platform to the left, but there's an invisible wall which makes you fall if you try to get there - misleading and disappointing.
Also, the hot water below doesn't have any sort of transition between rocks and water, and it would look better if it had one. If the material of the water can't be edited by Trine 3's tools, it might be possible to simulate one by using small local fog volume.
10:15 - puttung enemies on tops of pillars when player has limited space to maneuver is a good idea that gives sense of danger.
Ruins in the end look good, also they're introduced in an interesting way - first showing a bright glimpse of them in the corner of the screen, then eventual magnificent view we get to see, with sone nice destruction on the way. Very last minutes of the level, however, feel too restrictive as there are more invisible walls than the scenery suggests. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njxSdEPXgms
