Prey-like portals! Some appreciation of Prey 2006!
Good for a first map. The base overall looks convincing, with storage area and portal research room. Though I'm not sure if using a small trim texture throughout long wall at 1:14 is a good idea, also there's Hall of Mirrors effect on the truck at 1:46.
The contents of rooms effectively divert attention from their flat walls.
Blue key area transformation is a nice surprise and a segment that I regret not trying to complete stealthily: seems interesting.
At 05:50 design gets really bland, with nothing interesting besides sloped floors. Thankfully it returns to previous higher quality pretty quickly. 19:55 is another example of a bland area.
There's strange repetitive texturing at 06:32 where the white window and medkit. Probably requires pressing Ctrl+A at that place in Doom Builder.
07:22 impressive big area with a long fight. It overmhelms with its size and the amount of Cyberdemons to kill. There are some flat walls still, but other details divert attention from them.
