Overview: Conventional wind turbines typically commence generating power once wind speeds reach approximately 26 km/h, initiating blade rotation. However, with our groundbreaking controller, a transformation is underway. By initiating a minor current to initiate blade movement, we conquer inertia and lower the activation threshold. This innovation unleashes greater energy potential even when wind speeds are minimal.
Modes of Operation: This presentation guides you through the diverse operational phases of our windmill:
KickStart Mode: Upon detecting wind speeds ranging from 14 to 16 km/hr, the controller springs into action. It supplies 6V at 0.5A to the motor, propelling the initial rotation of the blades. This initial push facilitates the wind's takeover and sustains the blades' rotation.
Boost Phase: As long as the windmill generates less than approximately 11.5V output, the controller maintains a "Boost voltage" mode, infusing an additional 5 VDC. This preserves optimal efficiency while conserving energy. The windmill functions adeptly, producing power without unnecessary intervention.
Normal Operation: Once the windmill attains a steady rotation, yielding around 12V, the controller seamlessly disengages the KickStart and Boost modes. The windmill operates under normal conditions, harnessing maximum power from the available wind.
