Home made DIY windmill series 1

Completely built at home windmill out of treadmill 3HP permanent magnet DC motor used as a generator. Blades are from a radiator fan from a car and also 3 blades and hub from previous purchased 400W wind-generator. Yaw is made out of an water-pump, scrapped from a pickup truck and the yaw hub from a cheap broken auto shop chair. The guy wires are from a clothesline. The wire is from old microphone cable. The wood is mostly scrap, the mast a 12ft 2x4 lumber. The idea came about when it was windy blowing from East in winter and I came across the old radiator 12 VDC fan I mounted on a couple pieces of aluminium plate and a length of 2x4 that I mounted on end of a shed in a fixed position. I then found and added the 3 blades on top, then changed the fan motor to the treadmill motor, then built up a mast and yaw control (to turn it to the wind). The windmill broke it's tail (from metal and wooden broom handle) twice, and couple of blades; first time I found all the pieces and glued them together using epoxy plastic weld from dollar store. 2nd time I didn't find the pieces, so made the broken pieces out of old PVC pipe. Thru trial and error I figured out a way to raise and lower the windmill safely.
The controls (my own windmill-kick-start and windmill-boost are completely designed and built by me, hookup into existing 70W solar panels and a purchased 150W grid-tie inverter.
The idea is to Reuse-Reduce-Recycle-Re-purpose and don't-buy-anything-for-a-year, try to figure it out, research and build out of things kicking around the house.
The windmill works fine in moderate wind 21km/h-30km/h without kick-start or boost like we get in winter/spring/fall, but now in late spring the winds are mostly light 10-20km/h that's not enough to startup and produce any useful power.
Like subscribe and share and I'll reveal is a series of videos the progress, why and how I made things like the kick-start for lower cut-in speed from about 25km/h to about 13 km/hr. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naaGeplBTOk
